Hotel Mediterraneo faces the sea of the Big Harbour of Syracuse. The location of the hotel is quiet and very central, so it takes only few minutes by walk to reach the ancient isle of Ortigia: the historical and fashion Greek 'polis'. The railway station is only 200 mt far from the hotel and even closer is the bus station. Not to mention the modern 'shopping area which is just within reach.
The Hotel, opened just last summer, welcomes our guests with modernity, comfort and a delicious breakfast. Every room is equipped with telephone, TV SAT, air conditioning, mini-bar, hairdryer, safe, and WI-FI connection. One of these rooms is reserved to welcome disabled guests.

Our rooms are very comfortable and functional. They all have TV, air conditioning, safe, private bathroom with hairdryer and at least a little balcony. From some rooms you can admire a relaxing sea-view. Besides, one of the nine rooms is reserved for our disabled guest.

The historical centre is far just five minute walking, closer is the shopping zone as well as the Railway Station. Passing only (corso) Gelone avenue, there is the archeologic site and the famous ancient Greek Theatre.

How to arrive:
By Plane: From International Airport of Catania it's possible to reach Siracusa by bus and taxi.
By Car: From North/Catania: Siracusa is far only 45 minutes, through the S.S. 114 Catania-Siracusa (Orientale Sicula), exit 'Siracusa Sud'
From South/Ragusa: From S.S. 115 exit 'Siracusa Sud' and then straight on until Hotel's signs.
By Train: The Hotel is far just less than 5 minute walking from the Railway Station.
