Hotel Al Madaring (The Steps) takes its name from the Arabic old name for Castellammare del Golfo(Sicily) and is set one side of a wide piazza that opens on to sea, where more than 2000 years ago there was the Emporium Segestanum.

It makes an excellent base from which to see the splendid temple of Segesta, the Zingaro Nature Reserve (both 15 minutes drive away), Palermo,Trapani,Erice and Selinunte (all about half an hour away).

The Hotel has 33 rooms all air-conditioned, whit bath or shower/wc, minibar, TV and telephone.

There is a meeting room, a bar and restaurant. Continental breakfast is served.
